Shay Mitchell

Shay Mitchell is a Canadian actress model and businesswoman. Her best-known role is as Emily Fields on the Freeform show Pretty Little Liars. Shay Lo was the name given to the Jennifer Lopez Mitchell admirer by her friends. When she was a young girl she was captivated by her passion for performing arts. She discussed with her parents her dream of having a career. When she was able to perform well in dance and modeling, Mitchell decided to learn acting. Therefore, she began taking acting lessons in Toronto. After securing a few advertisements and guest roles on TV shows Mitchell got her big break after being cast as Emily Fields in Pretty Little Liars. Both the critics and fans praised her for her talent. Then, she made her mark on the world of film by starring in Dreamland as well as Mother's Day. The psycho thriller You, in which she was a part of, earned her greater recognition. Shay Mitchell also has a writing career. Together with Michaela Blayne she wrote an adult novel called Bliss.
