
Jennifer always longed to be an multi-tasking star. She was an avid fan of various styles of music in her youth, which included Afro-Caribbean dances like salsa, merengue, and merengue and bachata. In her later years, her favorite genres were mainstream pop-hop, R&B along with hip-hop. Music was her passion, but she was fascinated by the film industry. Her biggest influence was the Rita Moreno musical, West Side Story (1961). At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Aside from being a budding entertainment artist, Jennifer is also a Catholic schoolgirlwho attended eight years at a Catholic primary school known as Holy Family situated on The Bronx, before graduating from an all girls prep school, Preston High School after a four-year stay. Jennifer was an accomplished athlete who participated in tennis and track in school, was an exceptional pupil. Then, in Castle Hill, she spent her early years in a two-story house. Jennifer was forced to leave her house with her parents at age 18. Lopez was a lawyer at this time and also took lessons at night.
